Almost 75 Years of Growing Beautiful Spaces

Welcome to the Jensen Beach Garden Club, where nature enthusiasts come together to nurture their love for all things green! Our Club is a haven for those who appreciate the beauty and serenity of gardens. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just discovering your green thumb, join us as we explore the world of plants, share gardening tips, and create lush, vibrant spaces. Since 1950, we have grown together, fostered a sense of community, and transformed our surroundings into thriving, blooming gardens. Join us on this botanical journey!

Currently, we have over 100 members, men and women of all ages, who have a common interest in the flora and fauna of southeast Florida. Some want to learn more about their environment or love to garden. Others also want to give back to their community, make new friends, and enrich their social lives. An active gardening committee plants and maintains gardens around Martin County, including the Butterfly Garden at Hoke Library, the Log Cabin at Langford Park, and Indian Riverside Park. The committee also maintains the sidewalk planters in downtown Jensen Beach.

We encourage members to get the most out of their membership according to their interests and schedules. We strive to be a friendly, gracious, and down-to-earth group of people who share a common interest in nature's beauty.

Our Club Objective

The Jensen Beach Garden Club’s objective is to complement our local natural environment by encouraging interest in gardening, and by involvement in public garden maintenance and beautification projects. We aim to expand the knowledge of adults and children on the flora of Florida, water quality, preservation and conservation, invasive species, and the protection of birds, butterflies, bees, and native plant life.

Public Gardens We Maintain

Jensen Beach Garden Club is dedicated to beautifying and enhancing the landscapes of several public buildings and parks in our area. The Gardening Committee works tirelessly to weed, trim, plant, and mulch these gardens for the public's enjoyment and to nourish pollinators critical to our environment.
